Micelle Horner (Artistic Director/ Choreographer) Micelle received a BA in Dance and Sociology from California State University, Sacramento. In Sacramento, she was a regularly featured company dancer with the highly acclaimed modern dance company, Dale Scholl Dance Art. Also in Sacramento, she performed and choreographed for Leaps of Faith Dance Company and Jazzee Dance Company. In Los Angeles, Micelle founded Visceral Resolution after teaching in dance studios and choreographing award winner pieces for the Santa Susanna High School dance troupe. Micelle has also enjoyed teaching for Universal Dance Association and performing with the Rock Show Dance Company and Intersection Dance Project. Micelle recently received a MPA (Masters degree in Public Administration) from California State University, Northridge and intends to grow Visceral Resolution Dance under her non-profit skill set.
Alice Ngo
A native Angelino, Alice earned her B.A. in Dance and English from Loyola Marymount University. Alice combines her passion for writing and dance by working administratively for Hysterica Dance Co. and Luminario Ballet, and she also holds a full time position in the Digital Advertising Department at the Los Angeles Times. As a performer, Alice mainly focuses on concert dance, and she has danced regularly with Donlavy Dance Co. and Earthwalk Dance Co. Alice has also been a backup dancer in episodes of SiTV’s “The Drop” and DC Juicy’s Hip-Hop Comedy Show, and she’s collaborated with Brooklyn clothing designer Jamie Matson on a dance/fashion show at Echo Curio. Alice is ecstatic to be dancing with Visceral Resolution, and she looks forward to exploring her artistry through music and movement.
Claire Hanson
A native of Dallas, Texas, Claire began her dance training at an early age at Dallas Ballet Center, joined City Dance Theatre (a pre-professional ballet company), and in 1990 had the opportunity to work with Paul Mejia and the Fort Worth Ballet. She continued her education and training at Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts, enabling her to work with such artists as Donald McKayle, Ann Reinking, Bella Lewitsky, Paul Taylor, Newtown School for Performing Arts in Sydney, Australia, and numerous others. In 2001, Claire received her B.A. in Dance and Art History from Stephens College in Columbia, Missouri, and then returned to Texas to become jazz instructor at the Hathaway Academy of Ballet. In 2002, Claire moved to Los Angeles and became a founding member of Meh-Tropolis Dance Theatre. Currently, utilizing her Art History background, Claire works in the Antiquities Conservation Department at the J. Paul Getty Museum-Villa and continues to perform whenever possible. Claire is very excited and honored to be working with Visceral Resolution.
Laura Cook
Laura is thrilled to be dancing with Visceral Resolution! She has been creating and performing shows since was a little girl. Her neighbors, babysitters, and the family dog were the first victims Laura recruited to be in her many productions as she grew up in Indiana. She later took her talents to be refined and graduated form Otterbein College in Ohio with a degree in Musical Theatre. From there, she landed a job working as a dancer and a singer on Holland America Cruise Line. Once in LA, she began to do film and TV although dance still remains to be her greatest artistic passion. Credits include small roles on Alpha Dog, Bewitched, Scrubs, Crossing Jordan, and CSI: Miami to name a few. She would like to thank all the ladies of this fabulous company as well as her amazing husband Derek for all of his encouragement.
Sarah Goff Roiko
Is grateful for the experience to be visiting dance with Visceral Resolution. Sarah has danced and Choreographed with many companies over the years, such as Jacque D’Amboise’s National Dance Institute, Northern Lights Dance Company, The Rock show Dance Company and many others. Sarah fronts the rock band, “The Elizabeth Kill”, and is a painter and actress.
Courtney Flores
Born and raised in Salinas, CA, Courtney grew up training in ballet, jazz, contemporary, hip hop, and salsa. She was a part of Notre Dame High School’s Dance Company and other competitive dance teams in her hometown. She moved to Los Angeles in the summer of 2009 to pursue her dream of being a professional dancer. She teaches at Momentum Dance Studio in Salinas when she is home visiting and currently works at Baby Steps Dance in West Hollywood, assisting and teaching babies from 9 months to children of 5 years old. She is currently going to school at Santa Monica College with the intention of transferring and majoring in Dance. Courtney is thrilled to be a part of Visceral Resolution and looks forward to growth and success of the company.

Ellen Clifford
Ellen is originally from St. Louis where she received her degree in acting at Washington University in St. Louis. In addition to acting she occasionally does contortion work and dance. She combines theatre and dance in her autobiographical not-quite-a-one-woman show FLAT: a play about small breasts and everything else that’s great in life, which received a New Works of Merit honorable mention in 2007.
